Lazing on a sunny afternoon?
What could be better than sitting outside a pub during Summer drinking real ale?

The Ranmoor Inn, Fulwood Road is one such pub. On the cobbled frontage of the pub there are smartly painted bench tables with sun umbrellas surrounded by decorative posts and safety chains.

The useful litter bin nestles amongst colourfully planted tubs and the frontage of the pub is festooned with flowers and hanging baskets on all of the walls

The stable yard at the rear is also cobbled and has ample seating under cover including heating for the cooler evenings. This too has hanging baskets around the walls and potted plants around the edges of the yard.

The whole pub exterior has just been redecorated and with a wide range of real ales is well worth a visit.’
