Beer of the festival competition 2009

On the Wednesday evening in advance of the festival opening an expert panel of invited guests taste all the beers in the festival that are brewed on a regular basis. They aren't told which beer they are tasting, they are judged purely on how they look, taste and smell.

We have winners in each category of beer, then those winners are judged against one another to come up with an overall champion beer.

The winning beers will be posted here prior to the festival opening.
